There is no account manager sitting between you and the build. The person who scoped the work is the person who ships it, and the person you ring when something breaks at 4pm.
Fixed scope before fixed price
Every build opens with a two-week discovery. You get the data model, the sequence of work, a costed estimate and a written list of what could go wrong. If the numbers do not work for you, keep the document and walk away.
We stay after launch
We do not take on projects we cannot support afterwards. If you want a team that builds and disappears, we are the wrong studio.

We started because of a handover that never happened.

Between us we spent eleven years inside other people's delivery teams. An insurance platform two miles from where we now sit. A logistics rewrite that ran nineteen months past its date. A retail stack that nobody had documented, which we inherited on a Monday.
The pattern never changed. The build finished, the team dispersed, and the client was left holding software they could not safely change. So we set up on our own terms: small on purpose, one build in the workshop at a time, and a standing rule that we own what we ship for as long as you want us to.
We work with UK companies of five to two hundred people: operations teams drowning in manual steps, founders with a product to get in front of paying users, and businesses whose systems were never designed to talk to each other.

Starting figures for scoped work, quoted in pounds sterling and exclusive of VAT where it applies. Anything past the discovery estimate is priced before it starts; our day rate is £750. Written quotes hold for thirty days.

The drawing before the build
Two weeks of it. Where the data lives, what talks to what, and which decisions are expensive to reverse in six months. You finish with a document you could hand to any studio, including one that is not us.
Written to be read again
TypeScript and PostgreSQL, tests written beside the code rather than after it. The next engineer to open the repository should not need us in the room to follow it.
Where two systems meet
Most of the work is not the happy path. It is retries, duplicate records, and the Tuesday a supplier changes a field without telling anybody. That is the part we test hardest.
After the handover
Patched, monitored and watched by the two people who wrote it. Monthly, and you can stop with thirty days' notice.

Consultation
A call, then a written summary of what we think you actually need. No charge, no obligation.
Discovery
Two weeks, fixed fee. Architecture, estimate and risks. Plenty of clients stop here, and that is a fair outcome.
Build
Two-week increments with a working demo at the end of each one. You see it running before the next increment is invoiced.
Handover
Source code, documentation and deployment access transfer to you on final payment. A support retainer after that is optional.
Typical timelines from a signed estimate: automations and integrations two to four weeks, web applications eight to fourteen weeks, a first SaaS release twelve to twenty weeks. Work is delivered remotely to your own hosting or ours, with on-site days in the Thames Valley when a project needs them. If a date slips we tell you in the increment it slips in, not at the end.
